I'm an online teacher and I love it! It's a great way to interact with others and to not feel as lonely during isolation. Work also continues during the corona virus pandemic, as almost everyone is online.
If you are interested in becoming an online teacher as well, here are some awesome platforms that you may want to consider. All of the platforms I am listing have been recommended to me by others.
Platforms for those with a bachelor's degree and some ESL teaching experience:

China, must be enrolled in college or have completed a bachelor's degree,
$16-20/hr

ages 4-16, you must have a bachelor's degree plus a teacher's certificate
(or TEFL certificate if you don't have a teacher's certificate) $15-25/hr
- English First- Chose between teaching
English to adults or children, bachelor's degree and TEFL certificate
required, opportunities to teach languages other than English as well
$11-14/hr
- GoGoKid- Teach English online to kids in
China, bachelor's degree required, $14-25/hr

Teach English online to kids in China, you must have a bachelor's degree
and some teaching experience, $14-18/hr
